Ilayathalapathy has joined hands with Bharathan for Bairavaa, with whom he had worked in Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Keerthy Suresh plays Malar Vizhi a cute next door girl who happens to be the love interest of Vijay in the film. The film also has Sathish playing supporting role. while Aparna Vinod and Papri Ghosh are spotted in the important roles. The villan gang has Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, Rajendran, Sreeman, and many others.
Bairavaa as expected is a commercial entertainer. The film deals with a topical issue Film raises voices to the most important social happenings, takes on all educational institutions and in particular exposes the medical college mafia. The movie portrays the problems from the common man’s perspective after the hero’s girlfriend Malar Vizhi (Keerthy Suresh), whose dreams of becoming a doctor is shattered by powerful educationalist PK (Jagapathi Babu) Ilayathalapathy plays the role of an ordinary man, who stands up for a cause and voices out for the common man and manages to win over the evil medical college mafia.
director makes us enjoy the first half, second half turns out to be a let-down. Stunt works, cricket fight scene has the josh elements, interval block fight sequence has surely captured the heart of Vijay fans. Needless to say, vijay has carried the film on his shoulders and has contributed to the success of the film for sure.
