Comedy King Goundamani to play protagonist in 'Otha Votu Muthaiya'
An army of comedy stars including Yogi Babu, Mottai Rajendran, Thambi Ramaiah, Singam Puli, Vaiyapuri and Muthukalai are part of the cast
Singamuthu’s son, Nagesh’s grandson, and Mayilsamy’s son are playing important roles
A full-length comedy movie starring 'Comedy King' Goundamani, produced by Shashi Films, supervised by Kovai Lakshmi Rajan, and written and directed by Sai Rajagopal, has been titled 'Otha Votu Muthaiya'.
Yogi Babu, Mottai Rajendran, Thambi Ramaiah, Marimuthu, Singam Puli, Ravimaria, Vaiyapuri, Muthukalai, 'Ethirneechal' Jhansi Rani, Dharani, Cool Suresh, Senrayan, Lekha Sri, TK Srinivasan and Sathish are part of the star-studded the film, which can be enjoyed by the entire family.
Also, actor Singamuthu's son Vasan Karthik, late actor Nagesh's grandson Gajesh, and actor Mayilsamy's son Anbu Mayilsamy will be playing pivotal roles, paired with three young actresses. Rajeswari is acting opposite Goundamani.
Speaking about the film, director Sai Rajagopal said, "Besides writing comedy portions for Goundamani and Senthil in about 70 films, I had worked as an assistant, associate and co-director in various movies. I had worked with Manivasagam, Arjun and TP Gajendran. In my 25 years of film journey, I have directed films like 'Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naam' starring Pandiyarajan and Eshwari Rao, and 'Kicha Vayasu 16' starring 'Boys' Manikandan and Simran.
When I narrated the story of 'Otha Votu Muthaiya' to Goundamani, he was very happy and immediately agreed to act. It will be a full-length political comedy film that will be enjoyed by people of all ages from six to 60. I hope the fans will enjoy the film and show their appreciation.”
Siddharth Vipin composes the music for 'Otha Votu Muthaiya' and Hector Srithar handles the cinematography.
