Malayalam actor Santhosh Nair has passed away following a road accident. The incident occurred at Enathu in Pathanamthitta. The car he was travelling in crashed into a lorry. His wife, Shubhashree, was also injured in the mishap. While undergoing treatment, the actor suffered a heart attack. He later succumbed to his condition. The lorry driver sustained injuries as well. Santhosh Nair's career that began in 1982. Santhosh Nair made his entry into cinema with the 1982 film 'Ithu Njangalude Katha'. He featured in more than 100 films and he portrayed villains, lead roles, supporting characters . His most recent film, 'Mohiniyattam', is currently running in theatres. The film now stands as his final on-screen appearance.
