Renowned talk show Neeya Naana honours actor Karthi as Man of the Year 2022

The reputed Tamil talk show Neeya Naana has honoured actor Karthi as the ‘Man of the Year 2022' (Sirantha Aalumai 2022) for his incredible success rate with three back-to-back blockbusters— Viruman, Ponniyin Selvan 1, and Sardar in 2022 and his socially responsible works done through Uzhavan Foundation, an NGO that recognizes and amplify the good works of farmers in Tamil Nadu. 

Neeya Naana, one of the most-watched talk shows in Tamil also selected the actor as the Man of the Year for strongly registering his voice about the Tamil community and our greatness on big platforms. In their promotional video, they mentioned how Karthi has been selecting socially responsible scripts and his versatility in portraying a wide range of characters from Paruthiveeran to Sardar.

Actor Karthi couldn't personally receive the award due to his priorly planned holiday in Spain but his good friend and Sardar's producer Lakshman represented him at the talk show. The producer mentioned that Karthi is very happy with the honour and talked about the good deeds he has been doing through Uzhavan Foundation.
